Construction and Craftsmanship

Moore Boat builds boats that are specifically designed for the rugged demands of government, military, and commercial use and we will not cut corners in the manufacture of our boats. Moore Boat has access to many great engineering resources to aid in the development of our boats, ensuring they are ready for the tough duty cycle demanded upon them.

Our commitment to quality is evident in our construction, utilizing the latest MIG and TIG equipment and following AWS standards. Aluminum is a difficult medium to master and we view our welding as a form of art that is all accomplished by hand, ultimately ensuring the toughness of our boats.

Our hulls are CNC water jet cut ensuring extremely close tolerances during construction. Our existing model lineup continues to grow and our attention to detail and function are evident on every Moore Boat we build. We offer a broad range of options utilizing the best raw materials and suppliers in the industry.

All of our hulls utilize 5086 and 5083 aluminum alloys for superior longevity in demanding salt water environments. Additionally, all of our stainless fasteners are type 316, the most corrosive resistant stainless available.

From fabrication and weld up to final assembly, each Moore Boat is handmade by a small team of American Master Craftsmen. Whether a government agency whose teams demand that the tools they use are up to the task or just taking in the late evening ride with the family back to the dock, the vital essence that our craftsmen impart into each vessel is undeniably present. Their care, intentionality and patience give each Moore Boat character beyond the sum of its parts.
